Sewing machines have come a long way since the last time I used one. I am having so much fun sewing thanks to this Singer machine. And you can see that in my work. With 110 stitch applications, I can select the ideal stitch to sew a hem or add a decorative accent. The one-step buttonhole is super easy to do.
If you’re wondering about its mobility, this sewing machine is a bit heavy (14.6 lbs.) to move around but not impossible. The metal frame offers enhanced durability and stability so I can foresee having this sewing machine for many years to come.
One of the best features is that I can continually change fabrics from sheer to heavy fabrics, even denim jeans. I also appreciate how convenient it is to monitor the bobbin’s thread level through the clear view cover. You can watch the thread supply and not guess when to refill or even worse, the bobbin thread runs out mid-stitch, always at the most difficult part of the sewing project. If you recall sewing machines from years ago, the bobbin had a metal cover, and it was time consuming to refill the bobbin’s thread.
